Easter serves as a similar reminder. But it is not just a symbol. It is a reminder of the true story of Jesus' victory over sin and all of its impact on the world. Whether you are visiting this site as a committed follower of Jesus or you are exploring faith, the victory He won through His death and resurrection is available to you. The Gospels tell of Jesus entering Jerusalem as this moment of victory. The streets were lined with people celebrating Jesus as a king.

Good Friday is crucial to the story of the Jesus' victory.
How does death bring victory? The trial and crucifixion of Jesus were undeserved injustices. An innocent man was made the victim of a punishment reserved for cowards and criminals. How could this possibly be described as victorious? How can this day be good?
And yet, it is. God's plan for redemption brings joy through suffering, freedom through submission, and life through death. Experience the paradox of this truth with us on Friday, April 7, at 4 pm.
We are no longer seeing hints of God's power or trying to make sense of the paradox of His plan. The stone has been rolled away. The tomb is empty. Jesus has overcome death itself.
But how does His victory become ours? Though we still struggle with sin, doubt, insecurity, and frail humanity, we are promised victory. Jesus stands as an advocate for us.
On Easter Sunday, we will be reminded of this promise. He is risen, and we have been raised with him! Join us for one of our services in Torrance or on the Beach.

We are excited to host an Easter Egg Hunt for littles and an EXTREME Egg Hunt for ages 6-12, a gaming truck (for ages 10+)*, an inflatable jousting ring, a bounce house, games, crafts, balloon creations, a caricature artist, and MORE. All the activities are included for free.
Dinner and snacks will be available for purchase via Cash, Apple Pay and Venmo.
*Gaming Truck: For each person (ages 10+) who wants to participate, select the add-on and a specific time in your registration. IF there is still space left on the day of the event, you can participate even if you did not sign up.
